One of best all-round team has seen downfall in last 1-2 year, but still they has managed to went through transition period. Last year, in T20 World Cup they won 4 out of 5 matches, but still failed to make to semis.
South Africa are also almost with their same team with they played in last T20 World Cup. There are new faces to squad this time with Wayne Parnell and Rilee Rossouw making International return for South Africa.

Quinton De Kock(wk)
Quinton de Kock is one of most experienced South African cricketer. De Kock is counted in best openers in the World Cricket. He is one of asset for South African team. Against India in last 2 matches, he has gained his form. Quinny has over 2000 T20I runs with average of 32 and strike rate of 120 plus.
Reeza Hendricks has consistently did well for South Africa while opening. Hendricks can be best option between Temba Bavuma and Hendricks. He is in fine form which can be beneficial for South Africa.
Rilee Roussouw has made international return after 6 years. Since his return, he is looking in good touch. From T20 blast to T20 series against India, he is in headlines. He has sealed No 3 spot after smashing hundred against India in last T20I.
Best player for South Africa with the bat in T20 World Cup 2021, Markram is clean striker of the ball. Markram has good class who can play every sort of Cricket. Bowling and fielding of Markram gives depth to Proteas side.
Most experienced South Africa cricketer, David Miller has been exceptional in 2022 with the bat. Miller usually plays as finisher, but he has developed himself as middle-order specialist batsman. Miller can be X-factor for South Africa.
South Africa will be missing services of Rassie van der Dussen in this World Cup, who is out due to injury. Klassen has experience in Australian conditions plus he is good player while playing in pressure situations.
Wayne Parnell is other cricketer, who made his international return in 2022. Parnell is left-arm fast bowler all-rounder who can bat as well. Parnell is capable of showing his class in both the departments.
Spearhead of South African pace attack, Rabada is wicket-taking bowler. Rabada is known for proving break throws to Proteas side at the start of innings. He is someone who can change the match with the ball.
Economical bowler, who doesn’t allow batsmans to play freely. Whenever there is need to stop runs, Maharaj is best option to go with. Also he is handy lower order batsman.
Speed gun. Nortje has all varieties of balls with him. Nortje is brilliant death bowler. He not only supports Rabada, but also take wickets. He can be very effective in bounch pitches in Australia.
Shamsi is at No 4 in ICC Bowler rankings. He is wicket-taker bowler who bowls mostly in middle-overs. Shamsi is capable of stopping flow of runs and destroying batting lineup.
Lungi Ngidi can be option in place of Shamsi and skipper Temba Bavuma will also look to fit in playing XI.
