In last T20 World Cup, England was most dominant team in group stage, where they defeated likes of West Indies, Australia, Sri Lanka etc in one-sided games before they lost to New Zealand in semi-final.
England is without their key players Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow and Jofra Archer. Also Eoin Morgan retired from international Cricket in July, still England is looking on of most balanced side in competition.

Alex Hales
Alex Hales made his comeback in International Cricket after 3.5 years. Since making his comeback, he has got good starts but has failed to convert. Hales BBL’s experience is going to be plus point for team.
Pair of Jos Buttler and Alex Hales is looking most destructive opening pair.
Dawid Malan
Dawid Malan has emerged as one of most consistent T20I batsman. Malan mostly plays as anchor in England team, but in last few games he has played at better strike rate. Malan has average near 40 and strike rate near 140 in T20Is.
Ben Stokes
Superstar of ODI and Test Cricket, Ben Stokes hasn’t proved his worth in T20Is. In T20 leagues he has played brilliant. Stokes against Australia made T20 comeback after 1.5 year. He is promoted to bat at No 4. Stokes is complete player who can be effective in any department. He will also bowl 2-4 overs in every match.
Liam Livingstone
Clean striker of the ball and power-hitter. Liam Livingstone is known for hitting big sixes. Livingstone is X-factor for England side who can change the game in few balls. Livingstone bowls leg spin to right-handed batsmans and off-spin to left-handed batsmans. If he manages to do well in T20 World Cup, England can win this World title.
Most improved Cricketer in last 1-2 year. Moeen can play every sort of Cricket. He can play as anchor if wickets fall early and also as finisher. He is also vice-captain of team. Moeen can be used as bowler if two left-handed batsmans are on crease.
Sam Curran
Another similar player like Ben Stokes, Sam Curran is looking lucky charm for England side. With the ball, he is doing brilliant. Sam in shorter format hasn’t much tested with the bat. However, he has batted brilliantly in IPL and NatWest Blast T20 Cricket.
Chris Woakes
Chris Woakes hasn’t much played T20 Cricket, but in past one month has has done well to earn his spot in playing XI for World Cup. Woakes strength is line, length and consistency.
Adil Rashid
One of most experienced spinner in the world at the moment. Adil Rashid is someone who usually go for runs, but also has ability to take wickets. Googly is his stock delivery. On his day, he can be threat for any opposition in the World.
Reece Topley
Reece Topley is in red hot form in 2022. He wasn’t regular part of England team till 2022. But, since his comeback he has proven to be match-winner for England. He is regularly tacking wickets for his team.
Mark Wood
Mark Wood is another player English player, who has made his comeback after injury. Wood has good pace which is going to help him in Australian conditions. Mark Wood is best in T20 Cricket as compared to ODI and tests. In 22 matches, he has 35 wickets.
