Punjab Kings is one of the most underperformed side in the IPL. Punjab Kings reached only two times in playoffs(IPL 2008 and IPL 2014).

This team was favourites in IPL 2014 and played fearless Cricket. PBKS was very dominant in that IPL. Problem with this team is they are not sure about their Captain and players who to retain.

Another brilliant addition the squad. Bairstow was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 6.75 Crore. He is power-hitter and can smash bowlers all over the park. He has over 1,000 IPL runs at an average of 40+ and strike rate of 140+.

Liam Livingstone

Bought by Rs 11.50 Crore by PBKS, Livingstone is hard-hitter of the ball and smash long sixes. He can hit sixes at any time and his job will be to move scorecard fast. He is also someone who can bowl some handy overs in the middle.
