India’s Best Playing XI for T20I series against New Zealand

After a finish of T20 World Cup 2022, both semi-finalists will play 3 Match T20I series from 18th November 2022. New Zealand are hosting India for 3-Match T20I and 3-Match ODI series.

India, in this series are with young stars who were not part of T20 World Cup 2022. Hardik Pandya have got an opportunity once again to lead the side. Challenge will be for India as New Zealand are well-built T20I side. But Indian guys are full of talent and always capable of doing well.

Here is India’s Best Playing XI for T20I series against New Zealand:-

Shubman Gill

Gill is going to make his T20I debut. In 2022, his batting style has changed. Gill has worked on increasing strike rate. He played valuable role in Gujarat Titans IPL win.

Ishan Kishan

Kishan is part of Indian T20 setup from last 24-36 months, however he was not part of T20 World Cup 2022. Ishan Kishan has played good knocks for India so far in T20 Cricket in his 19 matches. New Zealand conditions will shoot his batting technique.

Shreyas Iyer

One of the player from squad which visited New Zealand in 2020, Shreyas played a match winning knock there as well. He will be more responsible batsman considering his intelligence and experience. Iyer has 1,030 T20I runs at an average of 32.

Suryakumar Yadav

No 1 T20I batsman and run machine, Suryakumar Yadav is unstoppable at the moment. His intent is to just hit boundary of every ball. He can be highest run-scorer in this series. Also, SKY will be player to watch out for India in this series.

Hardik Pandya

Skipper for India in this T20I series, Hardik Pandya have dream year 2022. His best performances with the bat have came in this year. In T20 World Cup as well, he played couple of good knocks. Pandya have adopted playing according to situation.

Rishabh Pant(wk)

Rishabh Pant hasn’t got much chance in last few T20Is. He have a poor run in T20I Cricket as compared to tests and ODIs. This series is going to be very important for Rishabh Pant, as India could see other option in future matches.

Washington Sundar

Sundar is also considered for T20 Cricket, but his injuries have different mindset. Washington Sundar is known for his economical bowling. He can bowl in powerplay as well. Sundar is also known for his handy runs with the bat.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Bhuvneshwar didn’t had good outing in T20 World Cup 2022, but might get a chance considering his experience. Swing in New Zealand conditions will be plus point for Bhuvneshwar.

Mohammed Siraj

Siraj hasn’t played much for India in T20Is, but India are eyeing on him for long term option. Siraj has good pace and line. He is capable of being effective in New Zealand.

Arshdeep Singh

Best bowler for India in T20 World Cup 2022, Arshdeep Singh will be ready to roar in New Zealand as well. Wicket-taking option for India who will be death bowler as well.

Yuzvendra Chahal

India’s best wrist spinner, who didn’t got chance to play in any match of T20 World Cup 2022. Wicket-taker who can bowl any time and change the match with the ball.
