Indian former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is upset with selection of Kolkata Knight Riders playing XI. KKR lost their 5th successive match on 28th April, when Delhi Capitals defeated them by 4 Wickets.
KKR is the side who did very promising start in IPL 2022 and seemed to be top contender for winning the title, but lot of changes to playing XI and inconsistency from key players put KKR in deep trouble. As of 1st May 2022, Knight Riders are at No.8 in points table with 3 wins and 6 losses.
KKR is trying very different combinations in playing XI and they are not sure yet which is their best opening pair. Sunil Narine, Aaron Finch, Venkatesh Iyer, Sam Billings and Ajinkya Rahane are the openers they have tried, but opening partnership hasn’y crossed 50-run mark atleast in one match.

In bowling lineup as well, they have tried different options. These changes haven’t worked for Kolkata Knight Riders at all. It seems, KKR is totally over dependent upon 2-3 players. Here Indian all-rounder expressed his anger for KKR:-
Yuvraj questioned KKR’s team selection, and especially Cummins’ absence. “I’m so surprised to see @patcummins30 sit out unless he’s injured? World class all-rounder. If someone has had 2-3 tough games does it mean u stop believing in your match winners? Cause they can win you 3 in a row as well!!
