Rajasthan Royals(RR) won inaugural edition of IPL in 2008, after that team has not been much consistent. Last season they were runner ups.
Rajasthan Royals played playoffs in IPL 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2022 they played finals. Captain was their issue from long time, but now they have Sanju Samson as their permanent captain. Also he is someone who is with team from last 7-8 seasons.
In IPL 2022, It was Jos Buttler who lead the team with the bat and Yuzvendra Chahal being the wicket-taker with the ball.

Talented Indian batsman, hasn’t played kind of Cricket he is known for in IPL. Last two seasons, he tried to give fast start to team, but he is not consistent enough. This is the area where Jaiswal needs to work on.
Jos Buttler
Who can forget Jos Buttler’s IPL 2022. Orange Cap winner with 863 runs in tournament including 4 centuries. He single-handedly won many matches for team. RR will be expecting same kind of season from him. Aggressor at the top, anchor in the middle and finisher at the death, any kind of game Jos can play.
Devdutt Padikkal
Another top-order batsman who played at No 3 last season. Talented batsman who is a sweet timer of the ball. He scored 376 runs last season, but he failed in many matches. Devdutt is better player than kind of Cricket he played last season. His average was just 22 in IPL 2022.
Sanju Samson(c and wk)
Skipper and someone who has done constantly well for RR. Another batsman who can play both as anchor and aggressive. From 2017, he has scored more than 300 runs every season. Last season he finished with 458 runs at a strike rate of 147.
Shimron Hetmyer
In IPL, Shimron Hetmyer is getting chance to play as a finsiher. He is not disappointing management whether it is Delhi Capitals or it is Rajasthan Royals. He scored 314 runs at an average of 44 and strike rate of 154.

Riyan Perag
Riyan Parag didn’t have great last season, but he is one of key player for team as well. Another batsman who usually plays role of finisher for RR.
Jason Holder
One of best all-rounder in World Cricket, Jason Holder has managed to do good in last 3 seasons of IPL. RR was without 1 proper batsman in batting order last season, this time Jason Holder will be their solution.
R Ashwin
With the ball he had average last season, but his experience always plays valuable role. With the bat, he got promotion in few matches to bat at top, he scored 191 runs including one fifty.
Kuldeep Sen
Find for Rajasthan Royals last season, who bowls fast and clicks at 145kmph. Kuldeep Sen was expensive, but he bowled better and took wickets as well. Also he made debut for Team India in IPL 2022.
Trent Boult
Powerplay and swing bowler, Boult bowls majority of his overs in start. Boult is leader of fast bowling attack for RR. Last season, he finished with 16 wickets in 16 matches.
Yuzvendra Chahal
