IPL 2023 mini auction will take place on 16th December 2022 at 16th December 2022 in Kochi. Approximately 650 players will take place in Auction
All teams have submitted their list of retained players and released players. This time there have been some shocking releases by many franchises. All the franchises will look to have their balanced squad in IPL and have a team which can take them ahead in tournament.
Here is remaining purse of all teams ahead of IPL Auction 2023:-
Chennai Super Kings(Rs 20.45 Crore)
CSK once again will be with MS Dhoni as their skipper. There were rumors on Ravindra Jadeja will be released, but he is retained by Chennai Super Kings. Dwayne Bravo, Adam Milne and Chris Jordan were some big names released by CSK. With Rs 20.45 Crore in purse, they will look to buy someone who can captain side in future.
Delhi Capitals(Rs 19.45 Crore)
Delhi Capitals have released most of players who were underused and underperformed in last IPL. Although Shardul Thakur was one they traded to Kolkata Knight Riders. DC will look to buy some quality all-rounder in auction.
Gujarat Titans(Rs 19.25 Crore)
Champions of last year have good balanced squad for IPL 2023 too. They traded Rahmanullah Gubraz and Lockie Ferguson to KKR. They will look to have quality middle-order batsman and foreign pacer in their squad.

Kolkata Knight Riders(Rs 7.05 Crore)
Kolkata Knight Riders already bought some key players from other teams via trading, still they need quality foreign fast bowler and Indian wicket-keeping option. KKR has also released likes of Sam Billings, Aaron Finch, Pat Cummins, Ajinkya Rahane etc.
Lucknow Super Giants(Rs 23.35 Crore)
LSG have released big names from their squad. Evin Lewis, Manish Pandey, Andrew Tye and Jason Holder are released by them. Right now they don’t have overseas pacer in their squad. In auction they will look to buy multiple overseas pacers and overseas all-rounder.
Mumbai Indians(Rs 20.55 Crore)
Last season bowling was weakness of Mumbai Indians throughout the season. This time they will have both Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer in team, also they have got Jason Behrendorff via trade. They will look to have some quality overseas all-rounder for IPL 2023. MI released their one of key player in last one decade ahead of IPL auction.
Punjab Kings(Rs 32.20 Crore)
Punjab Kings once again have changed their captain for IPL 2023. In their squad, Jonny Bairstow, Kagiso Rabada and Liam Livingstone will be 3 automatic overseas pick, they will look to go buy quality overseas all-rounder who can give them depth in both the departments. Also, they need to look Indian fast bowlers in auction.
Rajasthan Royals(Rs 13.20 Crore)
RR was runner ups in IPL 2022, they were always one batsman short in whole season. They need to look on solving that problem. Rajasthan have already released Jimmy Neesham, Rassie van der dussen, Daryl Mitchell etc. They will try to buy replacement for these players.
Royal Challengers Bangalore(Rs 8.75 Crore)
Royal Challengers playing XI for IPL 2023 is looking fixed already. RCB has released Sherfane Rutherford and Glenn Maxwell is injured. If Maxwell will not be able to get fit for IPL, then there could be problems for RCB. They need to find one-on-one replacement for Glenn Maxwell.
