Punjab Kings on the other hand has other poor season and after 2014 they failed to enter playoffs in 8th consecutive season. This season Punjab got some brilliant talented players with the likes of Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma and Bhanuka Rajapaksa. Shikhar Dhawan and Kagiso Rabada repeated their brilliance for Punjab Kings as well as they did for Delhi Capitals in last few seasons.
Mayank Agarwal failed to handle captaincy pressure and it is looking PBKS would like to go with another skipper. Mayank finished season with just 1 fifty. Shahrukh Khan is another player who failed to perform according to expectations. Overall, it’s inconsistency that hurted Punjab Kings this season.
