One of consistent team in terms of performance, Sunrisers Hyderabad without much bigger names have done brilliant so far in IPL history. In 2016, SRH won IPL and in 2018, they were runner-ups.
This season Sunrisers Hyderabad are with young players into their squad. Kane Williamson was released by them and Aiden Markram is their new skipper.
Harry Brook, Heinrich Klassen, Adil Rashid, Mayank Agarwal etc are new additions to their squad. Last season didn’t went too good for Sunrisers Hyderabad, but Umran Malik, Rahul Tripathi and Abhishek Sharma were positives for them.

Mayank Agarwal
Experienced opener batsman, good striker of ball. Ex-Punjab Kings skipper was released by them and Sunrisers bought him at good price. He is bought to give flier to start. Having played over 100 IPL games, his average is just 22. 2019, 2020 and 2021 were few seasons where he was with runs.
Abhishek Sharma
Last season, Abhishek Sharma played few good knocks at top-order. He tried to stay at one side and let others attack. Abhishek finished season with 426 runs and his strike rate was above 130.
Rahul Tripathi
Rahul Tripathi is emerged as consistent performer in IPL. In IPL 2022, he scored 413 runs at an average of 37.55 and strike rate of 158.24. His performances in IPL led him to call in Indian team. He is playing at No 3 in Indian T20I team.
Aiden Markram(c)
Another player who batted brilliant for SRH last season, Markram is skipper of Sunrisers Hyderabad this season. In SA20 League, he led Sunrisers Eastern Cape to win title under his captaincy.
Harry Brook
Young and very talented batsman, Harry Brook is looking unstoppable right now. He is playing with one intent, just to smash runs. In Pakistan he played good T20 Cricket, it would be great to see how he plays in India.

Glenn Phillips
Another T20 specialist batsman, Glenn Phillips is regular member of New Zealand limited overs side, brilliant class player who has scored 2 T20I hundreds, he can be game changer for SRH. Also, he will be keeping the wickets.
Abdul Samad
Power-hitter batsman, Abdul Samad can smash sixes for fun, but he has failed to consistently perform for team, as a result he was left out from playing XI after few games. This season can be his future decider season.
Washington Sundar
Spin bowling all-rounder who has also shown good improvement with the bat in recent times. Sundar is known for bowling economical spells and also he is wicket-taker.
Marco Jensen
Fast bowler who can also bat in lower order, height gives him extra bounce which makes batsmans little bit difficult to pick. Jensen is expected to play more games this season.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Best fast bowler for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Bhuvneshwar Kumar hasn’t taken wickets according to his abilities, but he is very consistent with his lines and lengths, which hasn’t allowed batsmans to go after him.
T Natrajan
Yorker specialist, Natrajan was find for SRH in IPL 2020, after that he made debut for India in all formats, but because of injuries, he is not looking much into action and scheme of things. It will be huge positive for Sunrisers if he manages to do well.
Umran Malik
