3rd T20I of Sri Lanka and Australia(SL vs Aus) T20 series will be played on 11th June 2022 at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele. Match will start at 07:00PM IST.
Australia have already won the T20 series and 3rd game will be dead rubber. Aussies side will like to clean sweep T20 series whereas Sri Lanka would like to win atleast one match and get some confidence ahead of next series. However, Sri Lanka fought back well in last match but they failed to finish with the ball despite Wanindu Hasaranga’s heroics.

For Sri Lanka, no batsman except Pathum Nissanka has shown temperament and hasn’t able to spend time on crease. Batsmans strike rate in this series has let them down. In 1st match they got troubled by Josh Hazlewood and in 2nd match Jhye Richardson made batsmans hard to score.

Batting has been really a concern for Sri Lanka for lot time in T20 Cricket and now the time has come they need to find some power-hitters like Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Dhasun Shanaka. Consistency is other thing which is hurting Sri Lanka from long time.
Bowlers made a good improvement in 2nd T20 after failing to deliver with the ball in 1st match. In previous match, they took wickets at regular intervals, but Matthew’s Wade sensible batting won match for visiting side.
