KKR has lot of pace guns on the bench. Shivam Mavi is a bowling all-rounder who has lot of talent. Mavi has good bowling speed and could do better this year. Last season, he showed good improvement and was best season for him. He had 11 wickets last season and economy was 7.24.

Varun Chakravarthy

Another cricketer retained by Kolkata Knight Riders for IPL 2022. Mystery spinner, whom batsmans are reading tough to read. He is best Indian spinner in KKR squad. Varun after brilliance in IPL, was picked in Indian T20 World Cup squad.

Umesh Yadav

Umesh Yadav will be back with KKR after 4 seasons. He was part of playing 11, when KKR won IPL final in 2014. Yadav is a brilliant powerplay bowler, gun fielder and handy batsman. Death bowling of Umesh is always a concern where KKR should try Russell, Mavi or Cummins.
