AB De Villiers comeback in International Cricket

Cricket South Africa is talking to AB De Villiers for his return to International Cricket.

South African skipper Faf Du Plessis revealed on Monday,conversation is going between Cricket South Africa and AB De Villiers for his comeback for T20 World Cup 2020.

On Monday ABD made his mark in Big Bash League with a 32 ball 40 against Adelaide Strikers.

AB De claims he has to play a huge role for Brisbane Heat

Last year,ABD shocked everyone with his sudden retirement at the age of 35,when South Africa needed him the most.ABD was in form of his life at that time.

AB De Villiers was the best player of South Africa in last decade.He was South Africa’s most dependable Batsman as well.

Since his retirement,South African team has struggled lot in International Cricket.

Although,it is never easy for any team to get a replacement of player like ABD.

South Africa failed to qualify for semi-finals in ICC World Cup 2019 and is consistently failing.

AB De Villiers has scored 8765 runs in Tests at an average of 56,in ODIs he has scored 9473 runs at an average of 53 and in T20Is he has 1672 runs.

In addition to his batting,ABD is a brilliant fielder too.

After retirement,ABD played in PSL for Lahore Qalandars and in BPL for Rangpur Riders.Currently,he is playing in BBL,MSLT20 and IPL.

With his power-hitting abilities and 360 degree batting style,ABD has earned lot of respect and fan base in the World.

The craze of ABD was reached to a level,when ABD was smashing Indian bowlers and crowd was chanting ABD,ABD when he scored 61 ball 119 against India in Mumbai in 2019.

For his comeback in International Cricket,it depend lot upon his performance in IPL and other matches he play.

South Africa’s assistant coach Enoch Nkwe on Tuesday said,it is not just he will back direct to the team in ICC World T20.

There are still 11 T20 Matches that for South Africa before the T20 World Cup and he will play atleast 7-8 matches if he make a comeback.

So,it depends all on his performance in BBL,IPL and International T20s whether he will play or not.
