The Rise of Jofra Archer

Jofra Archer is a Barbadian-born English cricketer who is playing international Cricket for England.He came into everyone’s eyes when he was playing in BBL for Hobart Hurricanes and in PSL for Quetta Gladiators.

Jofra Archer – Fast and Furious, who surprised everyone by taking decision to play for England.

He was known at that time for his fast bowling and fielding abilities. Every franchise in T20 wanted to have Jofra Archer.

Jofra Archer was bought by Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2018. In the earlier half of the tournament, Archer got injured. He made his debut against Mumbai Indians, where he took three wickets and was named Man of the Match.

Rajasthan Royals got much needed balance in bowling with the comeback of Archer and reached Semi-final.

In Natwest T20 Blast, he played for Sussex, with the likes of Rashid Khan, Chris Jordan and Tymal Mills.

Archer decided to play International Cricket for England. Before the World Cup, Archer was selected for ODI Match against England and T20 match against Pakistan

His performances were enough to get him chance against Pakistan in ODI series.

He was selected for the ICC World Cup as well. He took 20 wickets for England and was part of the best playing 11 of the World Cup.

Jofra Archer, with the experience is becoming more dangerous.

He was selected for Ashes Test Series against Australia as well.He became the bowler to bowl one of the most economical spell in T20.He also became the Englishman to bowl fastest over.

Till today,many players has injured and hit on the helmet by the bouncers of Jofra Archer.

It would be great to see, how much damage Jofra Archer can do with the ball in the upcoming days.
