One of team which made good start in IPL, but have failed to win a single tournament. It would be not wrong if we say DC is weakest side looking this season.

Delhi Capitals reached semi-finals in 2008 and 2009 and 2012. After that few bad years went for Delhi and they failed as a team. But since Shreyas Iyer got Captaincy in 2018, DC have reached semis in 2019, 2021 and were runner-ups in IPL 2020.
Many brilliant players have played for Delhi side like AB De Villiers, David Warner, Kevin Pietersen, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Glenn Maxwell etc.
In Auction they bought many players including Phil Salt, Rillee Rossouw and Manish Pandey. One of biggest problem this season for DC is they will be without regular skipper and wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant, David Warner will be leading side this season.
Here is Best Playing XI of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2023:-
David Warner(c)

Arguably, the best overseas opener to play IPL. Orange Cap winner in IPL 2015, IPL 2017 and IPL 2019. Last season also he played few good knocks for his team, this season he will be having more responsibility as he has to lead side both with bat and in field.
Prithvi Shaw

Good young talented Batsman, plays attacking Cricketing shots in powerplay and can provide Delhi a flier. This year he needs to be bit more consistent as side is looking much weaker this time.

Marsh’s carrier has looked changed since he started batting at No 3. Very much consistency Marsh has shown from last 2-3 years. In IPL 2022, he only managed to play 8 matches scoring 251 runs.
Manish Pandey

Experienced and talented batsman, Manish Pandey has scored over 3500 runs in IPL. Pandey is capable of playing according to situation. His low strike rate is concern, but might he gets fit into playing with that strike rate for DC.

Sarfaraz Khan(wk)

Sarfaraz is playing IPL from 2015. He has shown good consistency in domestic circuit, but has failed to impress when it comes to IPL. Season gonna very important for Sarfaraz, otherwise in upcoimg seasons, teams can show no interest in Sarfaraz.
Rovman Powell

Hard-hitter batsman from West Indies, has done good in recent times. He will be playing role of finisher and power-hitter. He is someone who can take game away from opposition in matter of minutes. Last season as well, he played 2-3 match winning knocks for DC.
Akshar Patel

Axar Patel’s performance with the ball is good. He is economical bowler and provides breakthroughs when needed the most. From last 1-2 season, he has done brilliant job for Delhi Capitals. Akshar has also done well for India in last 1 year specially in home conditions. With the bat as well, he has played brilliant knocks.

Chetan Sakariya

Find of IPL 2021, where he played for Rajasthan Royals, last season he played for Delhi Capitals, he got only 3 games to play last season. As team is without Shardul Thakur this season, he might get more chances.
Anrich Nortje

43 IPL wickets in 30 matches, Anrich Nortje has made batsmans struggled with his bowling. Last season he came from injury and played only 6 matches. Last year he took 9 wickets but was more expensive.
Khaleel Ahmed
