Gavaskar made his debut in 1975 and played 125 Test matches out of which 106 were consecutive.
Gavaskar scored 10,122 runs at an average of 51.12 and have good strike rate of 66.04.
He was the first batsman to score 10,000 runs in Test Cricket.
