Former England Batsman picks India’s next wicket-keeper Batsmans. MS Dhoni didn’t played international match from last one year and India tried many wicket-keeper Batsmans.

India went with Rishabh Pant, who never shown consistency in Indian Cricket team. Pant played almost 20 games but dissapointed fans and selectors.

In ODI series against Australia, India tried KL Rahul as wicket-keeper, he made full use of opportunity and in T20I series against New Zealand as well, his performance was fantastic.

Sanju Samson also got opportunity. In 3 games, he couldn’t cross 10 run mark in atleast one game.Shane Warne Hopes To See Sanju Samson In All Formats For India | Cricket News

Both have scored 176 runs in 6 games in IPL 2020. But according to Kevin Pietersen, “When I see Sanju Samson, I see completely different. The dedication, the commitment he put into turning up for this year’s IPL, that impressed me,” said Pietersen on Star Sports.

Although, their numbers are same but according to Pietersen, Sanju Samson is ahead of Rishabh Pant.

India might go with KL Rahul as wicket-keeper in limited overs. So, competition is high between Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson. IPL’s performance and consistency will matter for both the players. Rishabh Pant's Role In Indian Team Hasn't Been Set, Feels Mohammad Kaif | Cricket News
